Quite often I get emails or comments on FB, Flickr, 500px or elsewhere when some one ask me “Dude Why didn't you use f/16 or f/22 to shoot your photo? Don't you think f/8 or f/11 would of been a better setting?”. You may also have times you just don't want to reveal your camera setting for one reason or another. Could be you got an awesome shot purely by luck (we lesser mortals) NOT you HIMAL or KARL, with some really crapy setting and you just don't want anyone to know. Hummmm.....

Well for those of you out there using Lightroom there's an easy way to avoid giving your camera info when you don't want to.

In Lightroom, go to File > Export and the Export dialog opens, you’ll see a small checkbox called “Minimize Embedded Metadata”.

I'm sure this can be done in other photo editing apps, however Lightroom is what I use.
