Frequently Asked Wedding Photography Questions

Throughout the years of photographing weddings, and engagement sessions, our future brides and grooms ask many of the same questions. We have created this page to answer some of the most popular ones that we continually receive. If you don’t find the answer here, please feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

Who will be our photographers?

Because we only accept a limited number of weddings per year we are able to provide our clients with unmatched service and attention to detail. Melissa and I will be photographing your wedding and working with you side by side from your initial consultation through final delivery of your album and artwork.

Do you offer engagement session?

YES! Engagement sessions are a great opportunity to get amazing images and artwork for your home and to give you a lot of diversity. It also allows you to get comfortable in front of our cameras.

What kind of packages do you offer?

We believe in keeping things simple. Which is why our collections are all-inclusive and provide you with everything you need to document your wedding day and provide you with your first family heirloom.

Do you offer wedding albums?

YES! Creating a beautiful custom designed, hand crafted album delivered after the wedding day is one of the most gratifying parts of the process for us! This album will be your family’s first heirloom; it’s something we take great pride in.

Melissa and I are both passionate visual storytellers, deeply committed to capturing our couple’s stories as they unfold with a mixture of elegant, classic and stylish imagery. What is your pricing?

We totally understand wanting to visit a wedding photographers site and be able to view pricing without having to ask. We’ve found that simply providing a bulleted list of pricing and packages creates more questions than answers. Our South Florida area wedding collections begin at $2,995. We invite you to contact us to setup a meeting so we can hear all about your big day and walk you through all of our options.

Do you come to the rehearsal?

Rehearsal dinner coverage is available as an add-on to our collections; otherwise we do not attend the rehearsal.

Do you photograph details and family group photos?

YES! Documenting your wedding day would not be complete without great details and family photos, and we take all the photographs you would expect out of any wedding photographer. But our goal is to also go beyond that and give you imagery that you never even imagined.

Do you offer digital negatives?

YES! Not just a CD of images, our negatives are provided in a custom, luxury keepsake.

Do you travel?

YES! We love to travel! We’ve made it very simple. We take care of all of our travel arrangements. If our travel requires airfare, hotel, or rental car all we require is a reimbursement of those fees.

Do you offer video?

Can we make an appointment to meet with you?

Definitely! The best story telling is the result of collaboration between our couples and us. This is why when we sit down with potential clients we take the time to get to know them, and their story. Each couple is different and unique. The relationships we forge with our couples are an essential part of the story telling process. It’s in these meetings too that couples can sense our commitment and excitement about creating a timeless legacy for them. We truly love what we do and the fact that we get to share this joy with so many wonderful people.

But we are from out of town. What do we do?

Not a problem! If you are unable to make it into the studio we will simply have our meeting via Skype.

Should I give you a shot list?

Our wedding day coverage is very thorough, including photos of your dress, jewelry, shoes, flowers, food and reception décor. There is no need to give us a shot list. The only list we will ask for is your list of family group shots.

How do we hire you?

A signed agreement and retainer of $1,000 is required to lock us in for your wedding day. We reserve dates on a first come-first serve basis. So don’t wait, as we only accept 3 weddings per month with some months filling up almost 2 years in advance.

Do you have insurance?

YES! And if your venue requires a certificate of liability just let us know and we will get that over to them.

What kind of equipment do you use?

We use top of the line Canon professional cameras, lenses, and lighting with extensive backups.
